As far as your comment on my videos, I hear you man. Not every ones cup of tea that is cool. Usually most people love them and hate this. This podcast is just my outlet to say the shit i could never get away with in a video because i have people above me watching my videos. With this show i don’t really give a fuck what anyone thinks, it is not being monetized so there is no one to say “hey, can you tone it down?”

I listened to the first Gonzo podcast today. I think you where a bit harsh. It sounds like he is going to do a different thing than Tom and others.

Let me start by saying I really enjoy “my semi life.” From what it sounds like your show and Gonzo’s may be similar. I have listened, I should say, tried to give a chance to all the trucker podcasts. I like yours and for some reason Roosters. That sorry fucker! I don’t even know why I feel sorry for him sometimes. Though I like your podcast; I don’t care for your videos. Except the “Drivers Wash Your Ass” that was incredible. I hate truck stops because of the nasty dirty ass smelling drivers! There should be a sensor in the seat and a gauge under the air pressure and applied brakes, next to the fuel gauge indicating the drivers stink!

In fact, if the HOS are ever revised, I think the log should be changed. There should be a box to check near the graph to indicate whether the driver took a shower. A new rule could be placed that said “drivers must shower (or bathe) 4 times in if filling a 70 hour cycle, or once every two 24 hour cycles if taking a reset prior to the 70 hours. You could be put out of service for not having enough showers! There could be an exception for oil field workers or somthing.

Back to Gonzo, So he implied he was a pioneer in the trucking podcast world. Small as it is, he probably didn’t know any better and I assume he does now. There is room for all here. Otr, local, semi, straight truck, whatever, bring it man. In fact, I’d like to hear a podcast from one of those poor fuckers that drive those straight tanker pump trucks that clean out septic systems or porta potties. That would be great. We could hear about the shit surge when he comes to each stop sign. Maybe he’d have a story about leaving the top cap on the tank open and making a sudden quick stop with a full tank. Good stuff i think that would be.

Anyway, lets give the Gonz a chance, I think he will be a good fit. If not; who cares.

You should make a video with characters playing “The Nasty Dirty Ass Smelling Drivers.” It could be a series! That’s content buddy!
