@ftpfreezer Whatever you do, DO NOT use water! Lithium reacts with water and will make it worse! Bone dry sand or salt is the only thing that should ever be used for this.
This appears to be a lithium cobalt battery and not a lithium iron phoshate battery. You should state if the battery had cobalt in it.
