Hard times bring out the worst in people.

Some would say that “hard times bring out the worst in people”. I can agree that there is some truth in that statement however it is slightly optimistic. Lets face it, some people are just a$$holes. As the saying goes the one percent ruin it for the other ninety nine percent, that holds true to most things in life and trucking is no exception. Most men and women in the trucking industry are hard working people trying to take care of their families and financial responsibilities. Then there are those who are such f#ck ups they make everyone else look bad. For example, you could go about your life for weeks and not so much as notice a big rig but when one cuts you off or nearly kills your family making a lane change that kind of fear sticks with you right? You’re probably thinking about the last time it happened, can you remember what the last truck looked like that did the job the right way, probably not?!?

The media is always looking for a juicy story, one that will strike fear and conversation, one that your sure to remember just long enough till the next story is dumped on you. Recently in the desert sun there was a article about a stupid pr!ck (Angel Guillen-Raya) that got busted hauling 14 tons of marijuana, a street value of 25 million dollars and Riverside counties sheriffs biggest bust.

This f#cking ass clown even went on to brag about how he got away with it just last week. Which makes me wonder why law enforcement officials didn’t use him as a guinea big to get to the bigger boss, after all he did admit to having a history of doing this, or does that just happen in the movies?

This guy maybe trying to bargain his way out of some jail time but one thing is for sure, he will be grabbing his ankles daily and suck!ng more cock then that chick from the Houston 500 gang bang video. No inmate likes a rat,  a snitch, a softer then butter b!tch! This dude has reached a whole new level of douche’dom.

I do have to give Angel Guillen-Raya some credit for at least being honest enough to admit that he was guilty of the crime the same can’t be said for Lazaro Merino, 42, of Miami.

Trucker busted

Trucker busted

Who was busted in Florida for having one hundred thousand dollars stored in a make shift fuel tank as reported on the Gainesville sun. What kind of a f#cking idiot would try to run drug money(or whatever) in a big rig? I thought the drugs went by truck or plane and money on small water craft and cars separate from one another? If your going to pick a life of crime sh!t at least be good at it. Please keep in mind these morons are a rare occurrence don’t let these douche bags be the ones you remember but instead next time wave hi to the trucker who is doing it the right way!

Trucker Bombs

By now I’m sure most of you have heard of trucker bombs?
Just in case you have not a trucker bomb is; A plastic bottle that serves to contain human waste products, and that, through long exposure to intense sunlight, has swelled with vaporized liquids, particularly ammonia from the urine. Once a Trucker Bomb is driven over with a lawn mower or some other machine, the bomb “detonates”, leaving the the operator and the machine covered in (usually hot) human waste products.trucker bottle poster1standard 744039 Trucker Bombs

That sounds like the plot to a evil prank video eh? I assure you I will not be making a video like this as I find the whole idea foul. I feel that if you are in such a hurry that you can’t find time to get out of the truck and use the bathroom then you need to learn how to manage your time better. Get out of your truck and smell the roses, lets hope they don’t smell like piss.

Personally the term “trucker bomb” pisses me the fuck off. These asscaps try to put all the blame on truckers however I’m sure there are many sick bastards that use a bottle as a bathroom. A more accurate term would be urine bomb.

I’m writing this article because of a video I seen on youtube. The video is for a product called the Superslab 100. I have to give this company some credit for offering a alternative to a nasty habit. However I feel this product is doomed to fail.

Here is a short description of the product.

The SuperSlab 100 is a discreet, biodegradable, hygienic, portable, urine collection solution to combat poor or problematic circumstances. This revolutionary urinal collects liquid waste and transforms it into a solid for easy retention and ethical disposal. It’s the perfect product for any male or female traveler, including truckers, campers, and children.

Apparently the inventor of this product didn’t put much thought into the reason there are trucker bombs in the first place. Do you actually think that the shit heads that toss these nasty little packages will consider paying money to be more hygienic. These fucktards can’t even manage their time to find a bathroom further more I think advocating someone to piss while they are driving or even parked in their vehicle is just sick.

Some of you might say “well I can’t always find a bathroom to use” In that case sign the petition for jason’s law to secure better facilities for all travelers. I personally think that is a weak reason for pissing in a bottle I would never urinate in my vehicle I have always found a bathroom, if your a lazy bastard you might want to buy the superslab 100 atleast try to be prepared.

On a side note I found this nasty information:trucker bombm2 300x199 Trucker Bombs

As stated by the American Meth movie- Under the delusional belief that most truck drivers are on meth, several addicts have admitted to searching roadsides for bottles of truckers urine, in hopes of recycling what meth might be left, by drinking it.

Don’t be a cunt!

The Blind spot #74

As most of you can imagine being a over the road trucker can put  a serious strain on any loving relationship.  It can be a real challenge to make a relationship work when you are thousands of miles away from your loved ones for long periods of time. I alone could write a book about my struggles with; life on the road, dealing with industry issues and learning to help your family back home handle your absence.

cunt11 232x300 Dont be a cunt!

Long story short I got a divorce several years ago but still manage to maintain communication with my ex-wife to raise the children we both brought into this world. When I got the divorce I thought all the problems would end, boy was I wrong, that is when it seems the worst of it began. I am not here to defend my self or make my ex-wife look like a complete asshole. This is not the format to really share such a story, one day I may write a script and shoot a full length production as I feel our strugle would make for a great movie.

In this recorded audio clip(link below) I talk about some of the more recent problems I have had dealing with my ex-wife  who I had to battle with to get temporary custody of my kids when I found out she was going to be homeless.  The last time I got home my oldest boy asked me “where is mommy” I didn’t know. I called her mother to track her down. I found her mentally and physically broke down, living in a trap house in central phoenix.

This show was recorded live, I had no plan on talking about any of this. I had planned on doing production on a podcast with audio clips I have record of her on our trip across the United States, I may end up doing that as well because there is more I would like to say to complete this story.

Smoky bears take down the 420 smokers

An inter-agency operation this week took 53 commercial vehicles and 93 drivers off Oregon roads for safety violations.

A team of Oregon State Police, several local police agencies and commercial vehicle inspectors with the Oregon Department of Transpiration ran the 16th Operation Trucker Check from 12:01 a.m. Tuesday through 11:59 p.m. Thursday at the southbound Interstate 5 Woodburn port of entry. The goal was to get impaired drivers and unsafe commercial vehicles off the road.badge wtype cmyk cropped 300x277 Smoky bears take down the 420 smokers

OSP reported preliminary statistics Friday. The 463 inspections during the check took 53 (about 11.5 percent) commercial vehicles off the road for critical safety violations and sidelined 93 (20 percent) drivers for violations that ranged from excessive driving hours, log book deficiencies and driver qualification issues. Officers and inspectors issued 42 motor carrier-related citations and 367 warnings.

During the previous trucker check in September last year at the Highway 97 Klamath Falls port of entry, state agencies placed 9 percent of the vehicles and 11 percent of the drivers out-of-service. And Trucker Check 14 at the westbound Interstate 84 Farewell Bend port of entry took 12 percent of vehicles and 14 percent of drivers off the road.

During trucker check 16, officers arrested a driver for possession of methamphetamine, hydrocodone tablets, alcohol, a handgun and a Tazer. Another driver was arrested during “Operation Trucker Check 16″ when troopers discovered he was in possession of marijuana plants, hashish, and a kit used for falsifying a urine test.

truckstoppot420 300x225 Smoky bears take down the 420 smokers According to OSP Sergeant Dave MacKenzie, on April 8, 2009 at approximately 10:51 p.m. Senior Trooper Dianne Hansell contacted a commercial vehicle at the Woodburn Port of Entry to conduct a vehicle inspection during the 72-hour “Operation Trucker Check”.  While in contact with the operator, PHILLIP C. MATTOON, age 53, from El Paso, Texas, the trooper, assisted by Drug Recognition Experts,  determined he was in possession of four marijuana plants, user quantities of marijuana and hashish, and a kit used for falsifying a urine test.

MATTOON, who was driving for Complete Distribution Services Inc., a Texas trucking firm not related to a company by the same name based in Oregon, was taken into custody and lodged at the Marion County Jail.  Charges include:

  • Operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle While in Possession of Marijuana
  • Operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle While in Possession of Hashish
  • Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana
  • Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana
  • Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana
  • Falsifying a Drug Test Result

The bond between most truckers (the brotherhood of cdl) is strong. Most professional drivers travel down the freeway assuming that the driver next to them is also a professional. Here is a reality check for those who are quick to stand up for another trucker just because he/she is a “trucker”. We are not all good, we are not all created equal. This goes for all occupations, you can apply it to most things in life really.

Most drivers might frown on this next comment, because there is a stigma to dislike law enforcement if you’re a trucker, as if law enforcement is out to get you, which is totally moronic. I am proud of all law enforcement officers who have made a decision to serve and protect, to take the scum bags off the streets. I salute you for a job well done!

So the next time you’re travelling down the freeway and you see smoky bear sitting in the middle wave high like I do(with all five fingers), he is working for you not against you!
